Artist statement on the Ploaroid selfies.

"While painting the Face of Aids I took a Polaroid each morning as important study for the self portraits in the series. I never intended to show these to anyone, and carefully put them in a box for almost 30 years. Now I see that selfies are current, so I am excited to share these after all these years!"
